NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Crowley Lake Mutual Water Company will receive  sealed bids at 181 Dewey Street, Big Pine CA 93513 until 4:00 P.M. (PDT) on Thursday February 26, 2026 at that time they will be opened.

For the following project: Water System Valve & Fire Hydrant Replacement Project

The proposed work consists of the following: Installing replacing water system valves and tee’s on the potable water system distribution system. The project will be on an operational water system, so it includes disinfection of  the new pipe & valves. The project includes valve group replacement in 4 locations, remove & replace 3 fire hydrants. Most of the existing pipe is asbestos cement pipe 6 inches  in diameter. It includes cutting and repair of AC pavement & restoration the sites to original condition.

No Pre bid conference will be held. The bidder is required to visit the site and attest to the site visit as part of the bid submission. The contractor can request a site pre-bid job walk with the Engineer.

The time to complete the project is 120 days with 45 days of onsite work.

The project is state funded under the Water Quality, Supply, and Infrastructure Act of 2014.The project requires prevailing wage.
